Cookie Policy
Effective 1 April 2026 · Last updated 1 April 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Ironwood Brands Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at ironwoodbrands.com (the "Site").
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal information.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how visitors use their site.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. Where we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we mean all such technologies.
3. Our approach to cookies
We have deliberately kept our use of cookies to an absolute minimum. We do not use cookies to profile you, to track you across other websites, or to serve advertising. We do not share cookie data with advertising networks.
Specifically:
- We use no advertising or marketing cookies.
- We use no social-media tracking pixels (for example, no Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag).
- We use no cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling.
4. Cookies and similar technologies we do use
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function and for you to be able to complete the actions you have requested (such as making a payment). They do not require your consent under UK law.
- Stripe. When you proceed to checkout, Stripe (our payment processor) sets cookies that are strictly necessary to process your payment, detect and prevent fraud, and maintain the checkout session. Without these cookies, the checkout will not function. Stripe's cookie usage is described at stripe.com/cookies-policy.
- Netlify. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to manage traffic and keep the Site secure.
- Calendly (when you book a call). If you use our Calendly scheduling page to book a call with us, Calendly sets strictly necessary cookies to operate the scheduling tool. Calendly's cookie usage is described at calendly.com/pages/privacy.
4.2 Analytics (privacy-first, no cookies)
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site in aggregate. Plausible is designed to be privacy-respecting and does not use cookies, does not track individual visitors, and does not collect personal identifiers. No consent is required to use Plausible under UK and EU guidance because no personal data is collected and no device identifier is stored.
Plausible collects aggregated metrics such as page views, referring website, approximate country, browser type, and screen size. This data is anonymized and cannot be tied back to an individual. You can read more at plausible.io/data-policy.
5. Do we need your consent?
Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and EU law (the ePrivacy Directive), consent is required before setting cookies that are not strictly necessary for the service you have requested. Because:
- the only cookies we set directly are strictly necessary (for checkout and scheduling), and
- our analytics tool (Plausible) does not use cookies and does not collect personal data,
we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and implement a compliant consent mechanism at the same time.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse all cookies, accept only certain cookies, or delete cookies that have already been set. Note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will prevent the checkout and some other parts of the Site from working.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time if our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of the policy shows when it was last updated.
