Cookie Policy

Effective 1 April 2026 · Last updated 27 June 2026

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Ironwood Brands Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at ironwoodbrands.com (the "Site").

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal information.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how visitors use their site.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. Where we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we mean all such technologies.

3. Our approach to cookies

We keep cookies to what we need to run the Site, to measure how our marketing performs, and to understand how visitors use our pages. We do not use cookies to build advertising audiences, to follow you with ads after you leave, or to track you across other websites.

The cookies that are not strictly necessary, meaning our analytics and advertising-measurement cookies, load only if you accept them. Until then they stay switched off.

  • There are no remarketing or retargeting cookies on this Site.
  • We set no social-media tracking pixels, such as a Meta Pixel or a LinkedIn Insight Tag.
  • Nothing here follows you onto other websites or builds a behavioral advertising profile.

4. Cookies and similar technologies we do use

4.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to function and for you to be able to complete the actions you have requested (such as making a payment). They do not require your consent under UK law.

  • Stripe. When you proceed to checkout, Stripe (our payment processor) sets cookies that are strictly necessary to process your payment, detect and prevent fraud, and maintain the checkout session. Without these cookies, the checkout will not function. Stripe's cookie usage is described at stripe.com/cookies-policy.
  • Netlify. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to manage traffic and keep the Site secure.
  • Calendly (when you book a call). If you use our Calendly scheduling page to book a call with us, Calendly sets strictly necessary cookies to operate the scheduling tool. Calendly's cookie usage is described at calendly.com/pages/privacy.

4.2 Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors reach and use the Site: which pages they land on, how far they read, where they arrived from, and which marketing brought them here. This sets cookies in your browser, such as _ga, that give your visit a random identifier so we can count it as a single session. We have linked Google Analytics to our Google Ads account to see how our advertising performs, but for measurement only. We do not use it to retarget you or to build audiences.

Google Analytics is provided by Google and the data is processed in the United States. If you decline, these cookies are not set and your visit is not measured this way. Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.

4.3 Advertising-measurement cookies (Google Ads)

When you reach us from one of our ads and then accept cookies, Google Ads records that your visit, and any purchase or contact request that follows, came from that ad. This is how we judge whether our advertising is worth running. It sets a conversion-measurement cookie, such as _gcl_au, and stores the click reference Google adds to the ad link.

If you complete a purchase, a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address may be sent to Google so it can match the sale to the ad click. Google cannot read your email address from this, and the purpose is solely to confirm the sale came from our advertising, never to target you. Like analytics, none of this runs unless you accept.

5. Your choice and our consent banner

Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) and EU law (the ePrivacy Directive), consent is required before setting cookies that are not strictly necessary for the service you have requested. Because we now set analytics and advertising-measurement cookies, we ask before any of them load.

On your first visit a banner appears with two plain choices, accept or decline. If you decline, or before you choose, only the strictly necessary cookies in section 4.1 are active and nothing else runs. We remember your choice on your device so you are not asked every visit, and you can change it at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the banner.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse all cookies, accept only certain cookies, or delete cookies that have already been set. Note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will prevent the checkout and some other parts of the Site from working.

Instructions for the major browsers:

  • Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471
  • Firefox: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
  • Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time if our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of the policy shows when it was last updated.
